In-Home Therapy in Victoria & Langford BC
With Priscilla Dudas, Registered Counsellor

-Now Accepting New Clients in Langford and Greater Victoria, BC-
Are you finding it challenging to leave home for therapy due to anxiety, mobility concerns, busy family life, caregiving responsibilities, or simply preferring the comfort of your own space?
In-home counselling brings professional mental health support directly to you, right in the familiar, safe environment of your home, or Mobile counselling for outdoor, "walk-and-talk" sessions.
As a qualified therapist (Registered Clinical Counsellor), I offer personalized, confidential counselling sessions in your Langford or Greater Victoria home. This flexible approach removes common barriers to getting help, allowing you to focus fully on your healing without the stress of travel, parking, or waiting rooms.
What In-Home Counselling Looks Like
Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes long and scheduled at times that work best for you (weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs). I come prepared with everything needed for a productive session—any worksheets, grounding tools, or resources—while respecting your home as a private, professional space. We maintain the same high standards of confidentiality, ethics, and evidence-based practice as in-office or online therapy.
During our time together, we can explore whatever brings you to counselling: anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD recovery (including EMDR if appropriate), relationship challenges, grief, stress, life transitions, parenting support, self-esteem, or other concerns. The content and techniques are tailored to you, drawing from approaches like talk therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural strategies, or EMDR processing.
Key Benefits of In-Home Counselling
- Maximum Comfort and Safety — Being in your own familiar surroundings often helps people feel more relaxed and open, reducing emotional barriers and making it easier to build trust quickly.
- Convenience — No commuting, no childcare arrangements for travel, and no weather or scheduling hassles. Therapy fits seamlessly into your day.
- Real-Life Insights — In some cases, seeing your home environment (if relevant and with your consent) can provide helpful context for understanding family dynamics, triggers, or daily challenges.
- Accessibility — Ideal for those with mobility limitations, chronic illness, agoraphobia, young children at home, or anyone who feels more empowered in their personal space.
- Personalized and Empowering — Sessions feel collaborative and client-centered, helping you apply insights directly in your everyday life.

What Mobile Counselling Looks Like
Picture this: fresh air, gentle movement, and meaningful conversation all in one—right here in the beautiful parks, trails, and green spaces of Langford and Greater Victoria, BC.
I offer outdoor walk-and-talk counselling—a refreshing, evidence-based approach that combines professional therapy with the natural healing power of being outside and moving side-by-side.
Instead of sitting in a traditional office, we meet at a convenient local spot (like a nearby park or trail), walk at your comfortable pace, and talk through whatever's on your mind—whether it's anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, trauma recovery, relationships, or personal growth. The rhythmic motion of walking often helps thoughts flow more freely, reduces feelings of being 'stuck,' and makes opening up feel easier and less intense—no forced eye contact, just natural side-by-side support.
Nature lowers stress, boosts mood through endorphins and fresh air, and adds a sense of freedom and grounding. It's especially great if traditional indoor sessions feel too formal, if you're restless or prefer movement, or if you simply want therapy that feels empowering and connected to the world around you.
Sessions are confidential, client-paced (with options to pause on a bench if needed), and fully professional—same depth and tools as any counselling, just with the added benefits of gentle exercise and the restorative outdoors.
If you're ready to step outside, breathe easier, and move forward in your healing journey, let's walk together toward the change you deserve.
