About Balance From Within Psychotherapy

Priscilla Dudas MA, RCC
There are moments in life when carrying everything on your own becomes too heavy when anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, or past experiences quietly begin to shape how you see yourself and the world. If you’re here, you may be longing for a space where you can finally exhale, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what you’re carrying.
My role as a therapist is to offer that space. In my therapy room, you will find emotional safety, acceptance, and genuine human connection. This is a place where you don’t have to perform, explain, or minimize your experience. Together, we slow things down, gently explore your inner world, and begin transforming what feels overwhelming into something more manageable, meaningful, and integrated. Therapy here is not about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you reconnect with your inherent strength, clarity, and capacity for growth.
My approach is holistic, person-centred, and trauma-informed, honouring the full complexity of who you are. Every emotion is welcomed, every story matters, and every part of you is met with compassion. In our work together, vulnerability becomes a source of resilience, and uncertainty becomes a doorway to insight and change.
My perspective has been shaped not only through professional training, but through lived experience. Born in Hungary, Europe, and having lived and travelled across multiple countries, I bring a deep appreciation for cultural nuance, identity, and belonging. These experiences have allowed me to work with sensitivity and respect across diverse communities and life paths. After choosing Canada as my home over 12 years ago, I found a sense of grounding and purpose — and it is here in Victoria, British Columbia that I continue this work.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Victoria, BC. I support adult individuals, veterans, immigrants, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship and intimacy challenges, life transitions, and socio-emotional development.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we work to understand what is keeping you stuck, develop effective strategies for healing, and create space for greater balance, ease, and self-trust. You don’t have to walk this path alone support is available, and change is possible.
